Decorating a custom home with knotty pine paneling is a perfect backdrop for many of our country items and ideas. We placed stained glass windows over the existing standard vinyl windows by hanging them with hooks. To brighten the look for The Fourth of July holiday, some of our blue & white dishes and containers of red, white & blue break up the brown pine shelves and paneling. Also an interesting focal point as one enters our home, the stairway to the upstairs is made of half logs and log railings. The wonderful view to our river can be seen through these steps.
